The club is located on Bath Recreation Ground and has four lawns maintained by sports turf professionals on behalf of the club. Volunteers from our membership list help set the hoops, line the lawns, water the lawns if needed during the summer, and more.
We offer two seasons, summer season (from late March until late October) and the shorter winter session in the interim months. Some of our enthusiastic players enjoy croquet year-round.
Clubhouse
Bath Croquet Club members enjoy the use of the clubhouse, which serves as a meeting room, tea break room, social centre and more throughout the season. Books on learning and improving your game can be found on the shelves.
Equipment
For beginners, no special equipment is required. The Club has many mallets of all lengths for our new players, as well as game balls, practice balls and hoops for all the lawns. Members are given full access to necessary equipment with full tuition provided for safe and enjoyable use.
Bridge
All members are welcome to join the Bridge section that meets in the Clubhouse every Tuesday 2-4.30 p.m.
