Bath Croquet has a thriving Academy programme for children aged 10 years and over who meet on Monday evenings. Croquet often suits children and teenagers who avoid contact sports but relish the opportunity to use their individual skills as well as playing in a team.

We have encouraged and supported our Academy members to participate in National Championships. The events have enabled our academy members to compete successfully against others from across the country.
We provide all equipment, but do ask that participants wear flat soled shoes.
All activities involving children are supervised by DBS-certified club members and led by qualified Club Coaches. Details of our Safeguarding policy and Safeguarding Officer are readily available. We respect privacy and do not take or publish photos including recognisable children without explicit permission of a parent or guardian and the willingness of the individual(s).

Visitors from Italy/Croatia
Bath U18s Academy has some very talented players and at one of their usual Monday evening sessions they took on the challenge of introducing croquet to four European teenage visitors.
The language students, visiting from Italy and Croatia, were introduced to golf croquet and enjoyed a doubles match supported by our students.
It was great for Hannah and Teddy, Bath Academy members, to be able to support our visitors to run hoops, play positional shots and to use a variety of tactics successfully.
Our visiting teenagers were keen to learn the sport and will have memories of their excellent experience to report to family and friends on their return home.
