GC High handicap v Camerton & Peasedown
Played on all four lawns at Camerton the match got underway promptly.
Both teams had six players each ranging from handicaps 9-14, both sides had several playing off handicap 9. All games were timed.
By lunchtime Camerton were in the lead scoring 7 games to Bath’s 5.
Valerie Stanley maintained focus throughout the day winning all her games.
Two games went to golden hoop, and 7 games resulted in 7-5 score.
Although the margin was close, afternoon play proved to be in Camerton’s favour despite the fact that Bath rallied towards the end the final game with Feona Bickley against Angela Crofts ended in a draw.
