GC Level Team Start Season with Win

The GC Level team opened their season with a home match against Bristol B. The visitors brought a strong team with generally lower handicaps than the home team. After an even first round of games Bath took 7 of the next 8 games to go to lunch 9-3 in the lead. The two afternoon rounds of games were both even so the final score was 13-7 to Bath.
Pete Miles won all four of his singles matches and Sally Helvey and Neil Pinker both had good wins against significantly lower handicapped opponents. The team was completed by Philip de Glanville, David Veal and Tony Curson.
