Members Winter Quiz

With nervous anticipation it was heads down and full concentration for members who in teams settled in the Clubhouse to answer questions set by David and Ann for our winter quiz.

Questions were answered on the topics of imperial measurements, croquet history, Africa, definitions as given by Nuttalls dictionary, literature and general trivia. Teams eagerly shared their knowledge although were very careful not to give away any clues to the opposition.

Final scores were very close with only seven points between all teams. At the end of the morning the winning team of Henriette, Eleanor and Irene were awarded prizes for their efforts.

The morning was enjoyed by all and our thanks go to David and Ann for giving of their time to set such a wide range of questions to successfully challenge members’ knowledge.
