Cleveland Pools Talk

Whilst the frost and rain is currently limiting lawn time, members took the opportunity to meet in the Clubhouse for tea, cake and the promise of an interesting talk by fellow member Sally Helvey.

We didn’t realise we were in for such a superb afternoon treat. Sally’s presentation about Cleveland Pools was well researched, engaging and delivered with humour. Her slides gave a wonderful insight into the history of the Cleveland Pools project, with information about the initial plans for the area up to the present day renovations.

Many of our members used the pool in their youth and are keen to visit and maybe ‘have a dip’ once the facility is reopened in 2023. Below is also a leaflet on a walking trail round Bath which includes Cleveland Pools.
