Annual Presentation Dinner

The Club held their annual dinner and trophy presentation at the Bath & County Club last Saturday. In front of 40 members and guests the club Chairman, Andrew Willis, presented the trophies for the various winners of the seasons competitions plus three trophies awarded by the clubs committee for play over the whole season.
The Garrard Trophy for the most improved player was awarded to Philip de Glanville. He has brought his AC handicap down to 5 and improved his advanced level play. On the home front de Glanville also won the clubs AC Open singles trophy.
The Nick King Trophy for the most improved newcomer went to Sally Helvey who was runner up in two of the clubs GC competitions and the Captains Cup, for the member contributing most to the SWF league teams, went to Bob Hart.
Roger Hayes won the Advanced Level AC Trophy for the 14th time whilst Hester Henebury won the AC 4-12 handicap singles trophy. The AC handicap league trophy was awarded to Henriette van Deth and the Short Lawns trophy to Daniel Gott.Tony Jackson won the One Ball competition.
Gordon Cottis was successful in the GC Level competition, Bob Hart in the open GC Handicap and Tony Curson in the GC handicap league.
