Daniel Gott reaches South of England Semi-Final

Daniel continued his current good form in the South of England Championships at Eastbourne. All matches were best of three games. In the first round he defeated Rich Waterman 2-1, followed by a 2-1 win against Ed Duckworth ( ranked 27th in UK). His quarter final opponent was Jack Wicks who had to withdraw with the score level at 1-1. In the semi-final he came up against David Maugham, this years Open Champion and world No. 4, who won 2-0. As a result of this tournament Daniel’s handicap has reduced to -1.5 and he is now ranked 36 in the UK.
