GC Level Team win at Weston-super-Mare

Following a number of withdrawls the GC Level team captain was faced with being unable to field a team for the away match at Weston-super-Mare. However he persuaded Ally Hoyland and Miriam Bolger, whilst playing for the GC handicap team at Camerton the day before, to play. For both this was their first games at this level.

The team of Pete Miles, Neil Pinker, Ally Hoyland, Miriam Bolger and Tony Curson had a good day winning 15-5. Although all the team contributed hugely to the success particular mention must be made of Ally who won two of her three singles and both her doubles matches.

As a result of this win the team are currently top of the GC Level Play (North) division with just the Cheltenham v WSM match to be played.
