B League v Worcester – Gary Fightback in Vain

Worcester was only able to field a team of 3 for our final home match of the season. In the morning Tony & Barb trailed early and were beaten convincingly 6-17. George had a very close match with the lead exchanging several times but eventually lost 16-17.

Bath was 0-2 down at lunch and all hopes rested on 3 remaining singles. Gary came fresh to the fray and won comfortably 12-8. Unfortunately, neither Tony nor George could match him both losing singles matches.

Our final home match was lost 1-4 despite heroics from Gary.
