B League Team Suffers Nailbiting Loss v Bristol

The reverse fixture v Bristol at home saw the welcome return of Sue Duncan to the team. In the morning Doubles Tony & Neil built a gradual lead. With no bisques remaining on either side we were 4 up at the timer. Bristol then ran 5 hoops without bisques. Defeat snatched from jaws of victory. Sue and Monica both won singles matches so we were 2-1 up at lunch.

PM saw Tony win comfortably but the 3 remaining matches were nip and tuck. Sue lost 8-10; Monica lost 13-16; Neil lost 11-18. Bristol won the match 4-3.
