First SWF League Match of Season Results in a Win

Bath’s SC (Open) team’s season-opener resulted in a satisfying away win against old rivals Bristol. In a tense morning both rounds were shared 2-2, with Pete Miles, Hester Henebury and Lynne Passfield (2) all contributing wins. After what must have been a very good lunch the Bath team all won in the third round (even Bob Hart after a disappointing morning woke up!) and with the fourth round again shared, Bath came out winners 10-6. Lynne continued her winning ways, winning all four of her matches and David Prescott (replacing Pete for the afternoon matches) also added to Bath’s total.
