Charity One Ball Tournament

The Bath Croquet Club heat of the National Charity One Ball competition was held on Sunday 28th April, a very cold but dry day. 8 competitors played 6 games each in this friendly and relaxed competition. It was a cheerful and leisurely paced day and everyone had found something red from their wardrobes to represent the British Heart Foundation, the national charity for 2024.
Tony Jackson was the worthy winner, winning all 6 of his games. One of our newer members, George Plumbly, won 5 games and lost narrowly to Tony in the play-off final.
Overall, our major success of the day was to raise £130 for the British Heart Foundation.
