B League team Through To Final

The B League Team had their last South block match away at Weston-super-Mare. Both teams could only field 3 players. Bath (Andy Wagstaff 16, Tony Jackson 18 & Sue Duncan 22) remained unchanged. In the morning doubles Sue and Tony were in a tight match until after time had been called Sue made a 4 hoop break giving us a comfortable 14 – 7 win. Thus Tony & Sue remained undefeated in B League Doubles. Andy won his singles 19 – 8.

In the afternoon Andy had a remarkable 26 – 0 victory. Sue then avenged her reverse fixture loss against the Weston captain winning 19 – 11. Tony sportingly protecting his handicap mark lost 8 – 20.

Final result Bath 4 Weston 1. This puts Bath into the final against the winners of the North block at Cheltenham on 17 September.
