Harry Dodge Wins in Florida

This week Harry Dodge won the USCA Croquet Week GC Championship, only dropping one game, at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach. Hot and sunny weather with a warm welcome, 10 out of the 12 great lawns in use. The tournament was managed excellently. The Super Hoops provided an enjoyable challenge on dry and fast lawns (comparative to the UK), requiring high accuracy to score hoops, similar to the Atkins hoops experienced in New Zealand. Homemade lemonade and iced tea on tap made excellent refreshments between games. Harry said, “It was a very enjoyable experience!”
