GC Level Team success in final league match of season

The GC level play team entertained Camerton & Peasedown at the Rec in the final match of the season. The match was evenly poised during the morning with each round of games being level resulting in a 6-6 lunchtime scoreline. In the afternoon the team of Ian Morrison, Paul Francis, Peter Miles, Philip de Glanville and Tony Curson pulled away to win 12-8.
This result placed the team second in the East division. Their only defeat came against Winternorne Valley who fielded two internationals in their squad. This was a good result for the team on their return to the GC Level league after an absence of 3 years
