Club GC Progressive Doubles Tournament

A small, but select, field of 12 assembled for the clubs GC Progressive Doubles Tournament managed by Paul Francis last Sunday. It was good to see a significant number of the newer members supporting the competition. The field was split into low handicappers and high handicappers with a prize for the winner of each section. The players played against each of those in their section with different partners from the other section. After 5 games the winners were David Veal (low handicap with 4 wins) and Christine Lutman ( high handicap, unbeaten on 5 wins).The photo below shows most of the competitors with the winners to the fore.
