Rosemary Celebrates her 90th Birthday

Around 30 club members turned up to the GC Club morning today to celebrate Rosemary Beesley’s 90th birthday. Rosemary was presented with a card signed by many club members and an excellent cake, made by Margaret Murray, was shared by those present (we have left some in the fridge for the AC players tomorrow). Rosemary continues to amaze her playing partners and opponents alike by continuing to hit away or block balls which she cannot see. She thanked those present and stated she hopes to carry on playing for some time to come.
