Narrow win for High Handicap GC Team

The High Handicap GC team played their second game of the season at home to Broadwas. The match was played in a friendly spirit and despite losing the opening doubles matches Bath fought back with 100% record in the first round of singles matches.At lunch Broadwas held a one point lead.The match continued to be close throughout the afternoon with Bath finally winning 10.5 to 9.5. Clare Fletcher was unbeaten with three wins and a draw from her four games plus a doubles win with Henriette van Deth, who also won two singles matches. David Owen also won his two singles matches.The team was completed by Christine Owen, Pam Burgoyne and Bill Coles.
