Exciting end to High Handicap GC Match against Cheltenham

The High Handicap GC team won their second match of the season with an exciting narrow victory at home against Cheltenham. After falling behind in the morning the team fought back to be on level terms going into the last round of singles matches. Clare Fletcher hit the overall winning hoop in the final match of the day when she went 4-3 up in extra time to give an overall 10.5 – 9.5 win. Philip de Glanville had a successful day winning his three singles matches and two doubles, the latter partnering Clare.The remainder of the winning team were Miriam Bolger, Pam Burgoyne, Lorne Loxterkamp and Mike Nevett.
