Winter Season Roundup

The winter season finished at the end of March. Despite the often wet weather some play was possible every week and it was again successful with 33 players attending the various club days. We even managed regular AC short lawn games/practice with some 12 people attending mainly on Wednesdays. The GC Handicap Winter Ladder was eventually won by Elaine Morrison by virtue of her beating runner up Norman Connor on the last day of the season with Tony Curson finishing in third place. During the season a number of players competed in the monthly Hamptworth GC tournaments with varying degrees of success and Andrew Willis competed in some of the corresponding AC competitions.
