Hamptworth GC Winter Series October Tournament

Five club members travelled to the New Forest to take part in the first monthly Winter GC Handicap competition of the season at Hamptworth. Paul Francis was the most successful winning five out of his six games. This was despite losing his first game and having to give substantial amounts of free turns, 49 in total during the day, to all his opponents. As a result his GC handicap dropped to 1 (-2 virtual). Of the others players Miriam Bolger was the most successful with two wins, two ties and two losses. Norman Connor and Tony Curson both won half of their individual matches whilst Elaine Morrison had two wins and a tie.
