Bath Reach Federation League Final

Bath progressed to the Federation AC Croquet final after a 4-3 win in Cornwall.
At the half way point, Bath were 2-1 down. Folke Pope maintaining his undefeated run in the league kept Bath in the match with their only victory (+24) in the morning session.
In the afternoon, quick victories for Norman Connor (+25) and Folke Pope (+7) set up a tense finale. With Bob Hart behind in his game, Paul Francis put together a 14 hoop run with a double peel and pegged out to win his game (+17) and secure the victory.
Bath will now play against Broadwas Croquet Club from Worcestershire in the final at Sidmouth, Devon on 27 September.
