Bath Victory in Local Derby

The friendly relations between Bath and Camerton/Peasedown gained a more competitive edge last Saturday when the clubs met in the South West Level Golf Croquet League at the Camerton club.
Despite the hosts’ determination and skill, Bath dominated the match from the second of the six rounds of games. The final score of 13 1/2 to 6 1/2 was secured by the excellent form of Peter Riley and Roger Hayes who both won all their singles whilst the Peter Riley/Paul Francis doubles combination remains undefeated this season. Roger Hayes continues in top form and is also undefeated in GC Level league games this season. The other members of the team were Elaine Morrison and Norman Connor.
