AC and GC League Update
Report from Philip de Glanville on League Block Results
The block stages of both leagues are over – as of yesterday afternoon, when the last game was played. Congratulations to all of you. That was 64 AC matches and 112 GC matches – very impressive! I hope that, on balance, everyone found the experience worthwhile and that handicaps have moved a bit in the right direction as a result.
AC
Block A winner: Tony Curson, with 5 wins & 2 losses and a nett score of +18
Block A runner-up: Nigel Dawson Cocks, also with 5 wins & 2 losses and a nett score of +8
Paul Francis and Richard Jelly shared 3rd place in the 4-way tie
Block B winner: Philip de Glanville, with 7 wins & 1 loss
Block B runner-up: Bob Hart, also with 7 wins & 1 loss but the loss was to Philip (-1 on time!)
David Perkins and Lynne Passfield shared 3rd place with 6 wins each

Block B runner-up: Brenda Fisher, also with 6 wins & 1 loss, but the loss was to Clare!
Sue Andrew and Ian Morrison shared 3rd place with 4 wins each
Block C winner: Ninette Flowerdew , with 6 wins & 1 loss
Block C runner-up: Elaine Morrison, also with 6 wins & 1 loss, but the loss was to Ninette!
MJ Middlehurst and Mary Bertin were in 3rd place, both with 5 wins & 2 losses
Block D winner: Philip de Glanville with 7 wins
Block D runner-up: David Veal with 5 wins & 2 losses
Ali Hoyland and Gordon Cottis shared 3rd place with 4 wins each
